Is there any vendors that offer military, first responder discounts?

depends on what you want to buy. i can't think offhand of one that gives discounts across the board (other than the local shooting range) but some optics companies offer discounts to MIL/LE buyers. you just have to work with a vendor like cameralandny.com and they will sort it out for you if needed.

My lack of quality grammar obviously disqualified me from any type of clerical job. I became a United States Marine at age 27 back in 1999, turned 28 in bootcamp. Do the math, what generation an I? Did two tours one in Afghanistan and one in Iraq. My MOS is 0311. Why I wanted to know about a vendor discount on a FX impact? It's very simple actually to me $3500 on a air rifle setup is expensive. I currently own an Airforce Texan In .257 with a Madd Dodd Ultima stock with a Athlon Midas MAC HMR 2.5-15x50. That I run nitrogen though rather than compressed sir since it's cleaner. I have approximately $4200 in that set with scba tanks valves and gauges. I understand lots of guys have way more in thier setups than I do. I was just interested if anyone knew of a place that was a discount to veterans. Sorry PEEWEE if that offended you. I'd gladly give back my 90% disability check to unsee the things I've seen in my time overseas. I'd gladly give the joke of compensation the government gives me to the wives of the Marines I lost in combat. I didn't do it for the medals I received or the GI bill I didn't do it for ribbons on my uniform or the jump wings and scba bubbles that paid me a extra $150 a month on my cammies. And for the love of God I certainly didn't do it for a thank you!

This jerk was getting his ass shot off when the OP’s daddy was consuming breast milk.

When we came home from war we only wanted a thank you.

We didn’t beg for a 10% discount.

The OP and other’s are typical of the ME generation.

Clearly the OP is un-educated and was probably a clerk-typist or other administrative specialist.

If the OP is offended then do something about it.

You have the GI bill.

Take an English course.

The man isn't begging for anything. Vendors offer a discount to show their appreciation. Those who need it can take it and those who don't can leave it. I've never used it but I don't see anything wrong with the concept. Some people are fortunate to have earned plenty of money and some are not. There're better things to fight for in our country these days. I thank you both for your service and I hope you both find everything you need to be happy.
