Hello all this is my first ever post after I have been watching this forums for a long time! Anyways I'm looking to buy a new airgun I currently have a 22 cal maximus and while it is accurate I would like to buy something with a higher shot count magazine fed and a little more power. I am considering a marauder in 22 but I wanted to ask the experts if there is any others I should look into? Thanks alot guys!

I would suggest a refurbished Hatsan Nova or Kral BigMax, Jumbo or Pitbull. All these will get 30-34 FPE and 80 shots up to 120+ shots with the BigMax and Pitbull.

The umarex gauntlet would be a decent choice. I little long for my tastes but a great gun for the money.
consider a used s510. Sometimes they can be had for $700 ish.

The Marauder is a real solid choice a couple more hundred you could go get an even nicer choice of a brocock bantam highlight KRAL also makes a nice little Bullpup GOOD LUCK ID GET THE MROD IN 25 THEN GET A DECENT GLASS

Well take away the Nova. It has a 500cc bottle and 250 bar fill. You don't have to fill it to 250 to get a lot of shots. The BigMax has 850cc of tanks and the Pitbull has about 800cc. So that's a lot of air.

The best gun for you depends on how you shoot. Do you plan to hunt or shoot from a bench? Or hunt from a bench??

I will probably be bench shooting more than hunting. I can use the maximus for walking through the woods

For the money and the potential to add on and up grade the gun, the Marauder is hard to beat.
It was not my choice though due to the size and length. I walk the field and shoot from a truck or atv and a shorter gun is a must for me.

If you are staying with the 22 cal I would seriously look at the Kral Jumbo:

I am seriously liking that Diana outlaw! Now I have three choices Diana outlaw hatsan AT44 10 QE or the marauder in 22.

If it's out of those three, the Outlaw is the lightest, shortest, is regulated, has a side lever like the Hatsan, is as powerful as the Hatsan, has a wooden stock, and by far the cheapest and IMO is the best looking. None of them is particularly pump friendly but all are doable. Accuracy should be excellent on all three.
