Metal mag

I have a tin of M Ms. I would never buy them again. I have shot lots of P Ms in .177 .20 .22 and .25 cal. I love them and so do my guns. But the M Ms were a waste of money imo. I would say 80% of them had separated in the tin. Maybe it was just poor shipping. Guess I should give them another chance before saying something so negative. But they aren’t cheep $$$

I HAVE tried the Crosman Premier Gold Tip 8.9's and they are Very accurate in my .177 Pro Sport,LGU,HW50 asnd Gauntlet.

...I was pleasantly surprised.

I have them in .177 & .22. Been testing them on off but have not collected the data. Best I can remember: my German Springers in .177 liked them to at least 20 yards. The Cricket didn’t (30 yards) I will re-test when possible and post.

If you are hitting small game, but want to dump a lot of energy, the Polymags will do just fine. Choose Metalmags if you need penetration. The H/N Hornets are also wicked, but expensive.

The Metal Mags did have an issue with the tips not staying in the pellet. That issue should have been resolved. How long ago did you buy that particular tin?

I’m hoping to have more of a mushrooming effect on impact. I shoot the Walmart CPHP but they are pretty light and unstable past 50 yards for me.
