Merry Christmas To All - It's That Time Of Year Again For an AGN Christmas Eve Poem...

Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the nation,
The forum was quiet, perhaps all the members are on holiday vacation?
Everyone's rifles were stored in their gun safes with the greatest of care,
In hopes that clear skies for more shooting would soon be there;

The children all nestled snug in their beds,
While visions of air rifles danced in their heads;
My wife in her teddy, and me about to turn off the last light
To get some much needed rest, and turn in for the night.

Then suddenly on the porch there arose such a clatter,
I jumped off the misses to see what’s the matter!
Away to the window I strained for a look,
Was it finally here or had its sight I mistook?

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a large brown van, whose sight I hold dear!
With a large jolly driver, not bashful or nervous,
I knew in a moment that he must be from the United Parcel Service!

He looked at me with a smile and then began to exclaim,
and more rapid than pellets the models they came!
He whistled, and shouted, each one by name;

"The Dreamline, the Streamline, a Cayden and Kaltran!
an Impact a Maverick! the Puncher and Breaker!
For all my customers! the short and the tall,
I must deliver their rifle, to every one and all!"

He was dressed all in brown, from his head to his toe,
And his uniform it glistened from the new fallen snow;
A bundle of air arms and accessories were stowed in his truck,
Which one would be mine? was the only thought that stuck!

He threw open the loading door with such a flair,
I knew in an instant my package must be in there!

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
jumping into his van; without nary a jerk!
He then returned in a flash with a long cardboard box,
And I knew in an instant my package had not been lost!

He then closed the loading door shut in a flash, and with a broad smile gave me a wink,
Dashing off to the next lucky AGN member is what I surely think!
And I'm sure I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight,

"An AIRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND TO ALL A GOOD-NIGHT!
