Merry christmas! Annodize or polished?

Merry christmas! Should I annodize the shroud black or leave polished? Ive got everything finallized. 140 fpe nsa 65.5 @ 985 holding nice at 3/4 moa or better at 100. Shes quite the airhog (30 shots from 300 bar to 160 bar) but its a hunting rifle so who cares. I would do a type 3 hard annodize black to match the body of the gun.

Anodizing would probably be better for a hunting rig, but I personally like the look of polished barrels and have polished them on all my rigs. Also, where did you find a bottle like THAT? That thing makes 580 bottles look tiny!

I kinda like it how it is. Wana get crazy and knock the glare down, hydro dip it rattlesnake skin. I like different .

Factory uragan 530cc. 6061-t6 1.25x.083 wall functional shroud, 35” 9/16 tj barrel with ronin ldc. Oh, hydrodip would be my first choice on the whole thing buts its kind of a pain, lots of parts.

It is good that they use Gunkote in lieu of Cerakote because I have never been a big proponent of the latter---not that durable, IMHO.

So you have a choice of having aero-grade anodizing or Gunkote from this outfit.

I plan to send some of my parts to them after the holidays.

Polished is fine but very prone to scratches, especially for aluminum parts.

Ditto on clear coat or the clear anodizing. Polished AL is purdeee.

OR

Leave it alone and If you get bored then wrap it with camo tape for a week then start missing the polished look and unwrap it.

You can't practically go back from anodized.
