All I know is that Meopta makes good scopes and some people here swear by them,it may help to look up that scope is the search function.I will right now.I see the model 5 on search.I have seen the model five at the price you are quoting for the 3. At the $500 price range the 5 is better and also Sightron are very good at that price range.$500 price range is a great price range to have many good choices from.It also can be very confusing when so many people have their favorites at that price range. To help ,Is say you are on the right track, but try to get the Meopta model 5 at that price range
I've already used the Optika5/6's and they are awesome scopes. This MeoSport catches my attention though because it has the right mag level, turret setup, and feature set that I want in a scope. Its also fairly light for a 30mm scope
I had one but didn’t like it. I thought the glass was a little dull. I returned it and bought the Optika5 4-20x50 RD and though its glass was a noticeable step up. It’s too bad because the 3-15 magnification range better fits my needs.
If this scope had a .5 or .2 mil spacing hash mark reticle true at 15X I would have probably already bought it. I’m wondering how the glass quality compares with the Optika5/6 scopes, which are superb.
I looked on Meopta's website and they have three lines...entry, performance, and premium. This scope is in the entry lineup so I'm going to assume the overall quality/glass quality is a tier below the Optika5/6's(performance line).
