A couple of months ago I found my old P-38 can opener.
They used to come along with the surplus World War II C-Rations.
Those of us who could not make it to the Chow Hall, were issued during them during our Southeast Asia (RVN) vacation.
I was there in 1968 and 1969.
No-we were not deployed.
We were permanently assigned….
Today, I was rummaging through some of my old paraphernalia from the 22 years I was in the service and came up with another little item.
My dad sent it to me and I wore it under my fatigues for about 11 months.
The scabbard is useless but the blade is still razor sharp….
I believe it is the Buck General..
