Member Classifieds and Selling Pcp

Without breaking any forum rules, what is a good way to find asking price of an air rifle. I have searched past sales, new sales, and also listed for sale without any inquiries. I have a

absolutey mint condition, never been taken outside Daystate .25 Rosso HP I would like to sell. What is the proper asking price for this rifle. It is a limited edition , I don't believe they

make this model any more.

The seller sets the asking price.

Take into consideration the demand for the specific item. Check the asking price of similar models in the classifieds.

Then, I would suggest ask yourself how fast you wish to sell the item based on your financial state etc.

Based on the above, I would then set a price based on a percentage somewhere between 50%-75% of the item's original retail price.

My $0.020.

You can try for 80% of new but it’s going to have to be something for which there is considerable demand. I think 65 to 70 much more likely and that’s for stuff that’s in new condition.

There have been several all but new Daystate regals sold in the last several days for just over 50% of new and those are nice guns.

Everyone wants the latest and greatest and I have not fault with that and I’m as guilty as any and more then most.

Now it you buy used and then resell the used gun you can do pretty well that way.
