Super tired right now so I'll catch up on this thread tomorrow and through the weekend.

Thanks guys. This Bob guy is no joke! Lol. We had such a blast. He’s a great shot, and just fun to be around. And he is so generous with his time and explanations of everything we asked.

We have more footage than I think I can even process in a week so it’s likely gonna be a few.

One teaser I will let out, Bob got in sync with our tandem shots very quickly, and we triple tapped successfully all the way out to 212 yards. Thats three birds, with three shots, simultaneously fired. One got crushed. One tail flared and went straight down. One tried to walk it off, so we hit it again on the walk and he crashed and burned not far away after a short flight. We had a ton of fun shots but that one is what I keep replaying in my head, and on the computer! Lol

thanks for joining us Bob!

Well guys, I have to tell you this was a visit of Epic proportions! Just a short clip on my end as a sample of what we did for two days. The full video will come from Keith, who put me up for two full days of shooting and R&R.

First I have to say what an awesome duo Keith and Norm are. Not just as airgun enthusiasts, but people as well. From the moment my daughter and I stepped out of the car in Keith's driveway, it was like reuniting with brothers I haven't seen in years. Sharing knowledge, experiences, setups, etc., we learned A LOT from each other.

Thank you so much Keith for sharing your home with me and taking time from your busy schedule to help make this visit happen.

Thank you so much Norm for taking time off and letting me use your beautiful Impact.

That is all I have to say for now. I will have a busy week ahead of me getting ready to start a new job/career. We will definitely keep in touch and shoot again someday.

Absolutely. The most fun ever. And if you couldn’t tell that’s Norm who posted just above me.

Guys and gals on the forum, if any of you aren’t sure what a great guy Bob is from his videos, let me tell you he is the salt of the earth. An absolute wealth of knowledge and willingness to share it. I’m still processing the footage we got, but there were at least two instances I can remember off the top of my head that I went “huh, that makes a lot of sense” when he said something mid hunt. For instance we have always used mirage and vegetation to determine wind direction, Bob factors that in and then also assesses the way the birds are facing on the silo and landing. As a long time duck hunter, I immediately recognized the wisdom in what he said, I just never thought of it like he did.

It is so cool to meet someone who is as into the minutia as you are. Every night we were up well past 1 am reviewing the days footage and swapping war stories.

Awesome time, awesome company. I hope it comes through in the video when I can get it all processed.

Sounds [sic] like kindred spirits have connected. 👍

Woe unto the pest birds and varmints out there.

I do look forward to your video!
