Meazy electronic gauge. It showed 22 upon arrival and then to 21. I noticed it was not shutting off either. Today I filled the new Leshiy .30 for the first time and the gauge did not change. I filled based off the compressor gauge. Oh cr@p, electronics ... or the owner aye?
Well, I've watched so many EDgun videos on youtube that I'm about to hurl! I did recall that Meazy gauge video by Brian. Figured I go through a battery change and maybe. I did find some substance on the previous installed battery. I don't know if it was moisture or maybe oil? Pitched that battery and used a cotton swab on some of the contact points in the gauge housing. Dropped in the new battery and lined up the cap with the housing. The gauge popped on at 236 and then disappeared. Tightened down some more and nothing came on. Well, what a waste of time and blasted electronics.
Then, I shook the Leshiy and the gauge popped alive at 236, then when still, shut off. Appears to work now. Whew... but I'm sure some of you understand that feeling upon receiving a brand new item and it doesn't work when big $s are spent. I may sound a like a bit of a hypocrite, as I have a red dot coming and some illuminated scopes, but I absolutely dislike electronics in airguns or dragon breathers. I'll watch the gauge for awhile and see how things stay at pressure or if there are any developing leaks with the Leshiy.
Maybe much ado about nothing?
