Me vs. My Cat -- pt. Two

@Bandito
All is well. Many thanks for the ping.
I'm very glad that the holiday is beyond us now.

Well, I got me a Ground Squirrel for xmas. But, I was not able to get the trophy pics, as it disappeared into the wild edge shrubs in the background. I did get this picture of it a moment before though (below).
The pic is from inside the master bedroom. The rodent is on the fence top rail.
This is in its last moment:

And, well, Kitty,....
This is a mouse that she engulfed in mere seconds. I ran for the camera, but, she'd already gobbled it down.

And, then a day or so later,.... a Gopher:

So, I gave the Rats the better part of a year off, as I had reduced them to barely existing.
I decided to see what was happening in Rat world, and set out the night vision camera to monitor them.
This is what i found,....
The Three Stooges looking for trouble.

I ended their year off.

Night one:

Night-two - Rat-1

Night-two - Rat-2

there are four rats in this video, at once, ^

And, with these videos is a point that I have finally been able to illustrate here at AGN,...
I call my Rat shooting area my Shooting Gallery, and have done so for a long while, going back to its origins as a Ground Squirrel targeting spot. I've called it that, here, numerous times.
I call it the Shooting Gallery because of the way the rodents run back and forth, L>R, R>L, just like the old school Carnival Shooting Galleries with the targets and animals on the chain drive.
Perhaps, now that I have a video of it in action, you'll get a better understanding of the Shooting Gallery

from last night.
Again,... I slept through the evening. no shots taken. But the camera was rolling.

This pair of images are only a minute apart. They are with the NV lamp on, and then immediately after the low battery turned off the NV lamp.

night view binoculars:

My working view of the Red Light District, with LED lighting. I do not have night vision scope capability.

Note: The second Rat in the image, to the left of the center Rat.
It is on the ground, parallel to the backstop, at about 1' to the left of Rat-1
Rat-1 is very close to where it is in the NV lighting image from above (first image shown).

And I don't want to cast Kitty as too much of a slacker in all of this.

first two are Kitty, and a recent Gopher. I dashed for the camera, but I was too late.

And, here she is with an absolute trophy, a Rat that was birthing another:

And, I continued her good works in rodent reduction by eliminating this entire nest and Mom. And like Kittys trophy, Mom mouse is sitting on a new born.

scene: Generator shed. This is the scene of a constant battle.
Beeman P17 grip can be seen in the right of the image, on the shed door.

And, reviewing last nights files, monitoring the Rats,....

This is at my Shooting Gallery.
I don't "hunt". I just do time behind the blind, and, watch the Gallery. The critters move across it just like a carnival shooting gallery.
I've seen just about every critter in front of it, except a Bobcat large local wildcats (Mtn. Lion or Bobcats).
This is the first Coyote that I've seen on film.
I don't shoot Dogs or Cats

My wifes bird bath is about five more feet to the right. It was going for water.
