Max fps .30 dreamline

Hello 

Watching the videos of Steve and Ernest in youtube i started to ask myself how steve got 95fpe in stock configuration?

Ernest achieve 950fps with 700mm barrel, bigger plenum and heavier hammer weight which is nice, but despite of i have dual plenums and all huma stuff and cant brake the 900fps barrier with 44gr.

Yesterday i played with the dreamline and the only way i could get 95fpe (50gr jsb) was with a spacer (an oring in this case).

Is the steve dreamline an other version?

I use the dreamline for medium game hunt 30yds max, so power tune is what i am trying to get, do you consider that this is too much for the dreamline?

Push it too far and you'll crack the valve seat.

Sincerely i feel more comfortable at 900fps 50gr, but the point is how much is too much?

Where did you put the o ring?

I'm afraid that, at the least, the oring would provide a variable buffer energy, as it changes with temperature. Maybe that is not an issue for you tho.

When I was shimming my .25 dreamline, I used 1mm metal washers instead of an oring. I ended up cracking my valve seat...I'm back to stock with it now.

How many washers did you use?
