FX Maverick wooden grip and cheek piece

Hello , I decided to improve the look of my Maverick VP , so I add a wooden grip , made by FORM in American black Walnut ( from Huma-Air , Netherlands ) , and a cheek piece I made myself in African walnut , to match the grip . I'm very happy of the result .
The magazine is a CARM , which holds the short slugs better than the original FX

I also made my Maverick grip fit me better.
Not sure that it improves the look ! I did paint it with "trunk" paint that has a gritty feel to it. Works well.
A little, VERY expensive two part (marine) epoxy, wrap my hand around it with my finger on the trigger, and let it set a couple of hours.
I've had the grip on a couple of guns, it's back on the Maverick now.

Why stop there, make a butt pad for it too. Duplicate the shape of the FX one but it would be hard to duplicate the triangle cut outs. So do holes instead. Large to small then back to large. On the part that contacts your shoulder just use a piece of traction tape. You’ll never see it from the side and it will just look black from the rear.
