Maverick project

I have a Maverick that started life out as a VP, added a 480 bottle to it and then the wife decided she wanted an M3.
It is on consignment at the local air gun shop but not generating any interest. I have it down to $1,100.00 and I ain't going any cheaper and I am not interested in shipping for that money.
So now I am thinking what to do with it. Ideas are now
1. just leave it as is and use it to shoot pellets
2. Put a compact barrel (which I have) on it and use it for a walk around gun.
3. Buy a 30 cal 600 mm barrel kit and try the 30 out and see if I like it? I do not see much point in a 30 cal slug shooter. have no idea what I would use it for.
4. Any other ideas? bear in mind I already have 25 cal covered with 2 guns and a 22 slug shooter and am very happy with all of them.

Any ideas or opinions are welcome as long as it sticks with keeping the Maverick. Other than that let your imaginations run wild.

If you can afford it, keep it until your wife has tried the M3 some. One advantage the maverick has, is that the fill port is very easy to reach. She might like the easier reachable fill port and change her mind? Or maybe it is the man in the house which fill the guns

If you intend to shoot slugs, and pellets, it is nice to have two.

I fill the air. She fills the mags. Small price to pay to have her shoot and hunt with me.

Already have a 600mm M3 in 22 for shooting slugs. This one if left 22 would be strictly a pellet pusher.

You definitely sound like a victim of sunken cost syndrome. If it’s a gun you don’t want now, it might not be matter no what you do to it. It will always be a gun you don’t want or need anymore. It will eventually sell if it’s priced what it’s worth. The Maverick craze is over so your price will have to reflect that.
