Firstly I don't think your post helps the situation, secondly you will see that at the point of announcing the MAVERICK the guns were pretty much ready to go to dealers, indicating IMO that the release was carefully planned and not rushed. certainly when you take into account the MAVERICK concept goes a fair way back.

I have bought 15 FX rifles this year personally and not had a single problem with any of them, so either I am very lucky or your QC comment does not hold water excepting the very small percentage of defects that happen with any large volume manufacturers products.

Aside from that I hope Keymans gun gets fixed quickly, as I am sure it will and I am eagerly awaiting the delivery of my MAVERICK, although I do admit to being a little intimidated by having to adjust dual regs!

Having said that now my craving for squeezing every last inch of power from a new gun has subsided, I find I shoot it just as it comes out of the box, never had so much fun to be honest!

I guess your a new member and haven't read the thousands of comments on new fx rifles and the QC issues. So go do some more researching buddy and come back with a better rebuttal! I'll be waiting

Many thanks, I suspect the fact that you are "newer" than me on here has at least some relevance then?

I would simply say that the more product you sell the more likely you are to be faced with returns, this has nothing to do with a bad attitude towards poor QC it's simple math.

There are very many more happy FX owners on here than unhappy ones, hopefully Keyman will be one of those soon, as you can see FX have already responded!

Wait! I thought one gauge read bottle pressure and the other read plenum pressure??? Reading the above someone is confused. Could be me... ;)

I don't think it's you Centercut!!!

The videos I've watched clearly explain that the regs share one gage...the other is bottle pressure! Should learn and understand these things before messing with them...I'm not saying he doesn't actually have a malfunction but he clearly doesn't quite understand what he's doing either!!!

WELL? Seems to me the first issue is what are the gages actually reading. If the first gage is reading bottle pressure and not a reg pressure maybe all that’s wrong is the gun is low on air? 
I can’t think that a gun would be sold without a bottle pressure gauge.

i’m basing this on just reading the thread. I likely am way off but I’ve had plenty of times when I over looked the obvious so??? 
I would think with two regulators you would need three gauges . Confuses me.

But imagine the adjustability 😂

I'd adjust that thing to a standstill faster than the speed of light and wouldn't understand the guy on the other end of the phone describing how to fix the problem. I understand shipping charges though.

It's like those razors. First there was one blade, then two, then three, uh, what are we at now. Ooooh but those 5er's shave soooo good. Mo is better, bigger is better, farther is better, on and on.

If you watch the video from Ernest, it is fairly simple to figure out your pressures and such.



Front gauge towards muzzle end is BOTTLE PRESSURE, rear gauge towards butt is REG PRESSURE of second reg.

Setting the first reg is not hard if you watch the video and pay attention to what he does.



Really the only WAG about it would be due to the notoriously inaccurate FX gauge that you are relying upon. Sometimes they are correct, sometimes not so much..........

What's to be confusing?

Watch 68 Whiskeys video or even Matt Dubber or Ernest Rows video...its not rocket science just a sequence that is performed by a competent person! 

Open the second reg all the way so its actually not functioning and then set the pressure for the first reg...then degas the gun and turn the second reg in all the way!

Recharge the gun and set reg pressure on the second one to your desired setting!!!

One gage to set both regs!

Not complicated just have to pay attention!
