Got out to the old homestead and got to punch something other than paper. After this kill it took 3 more and a couple of sparrows.

I think we really need to see a picture of your Maverick. And dang, that’s a lot of blood for a small animal. Talk about a headache.

Shot was at about 35-40 yds using JSB Hades in .22. Running in the 860FPS range (new gun have some tuning to do). I got three of this ones siblings as well but they have big holes and dropped out of sight. (Not sticking my hand down the hole to search) But there was blood around the holes so I know they were good shots.
Here is the gun. I think I am going to look for some different foam for that middle layer. I like the pick and pull stuff but....sometimes it looks kinda ghetto.
Edit: New foam acquired and it looks like crap weather tomorrow so I can work on it.
