I agree! I bought the 2.5 - 15 x 44 today with the covers and warne rails. Can't wait to get it. Will use it for HFT!

Congratulations! I had one the Abbe Koenig binos....glass is so clear it almost hurt to look thru them!

I don't know too much about their optics. What other brands is the glass comparable to?

The R series is comparable to the higher end German and Japanese scopes. I have not gotten mine in yet, but I was going on some of the comparisons to the best scopes on the market and they said that the glass was very close. Since I don't have 3-4k to spend on a Kahler, Steiner, March, Swarovski or Zeiss, I'm going to try the Maven. I should have it in a few days and will be happy to report on the optics quality. I have the best Riton scope to compare the glass to (Conquer 7 4-32 x 56)
