Results Mass Rifle FT Match Saturday 02/24

This Saturday's match is a go. Sight in starts at 9, Match starts when Leo is ready. Classes are for school, just keep it under 20fpe. We'll continue using the WFTC format of one shot per target, two targets per lane for a 50 shot match.

After the match Leo and I will be staying behind to cut in a few new lanes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Of course something to eat will be provided for those helping. See ya Saturday.

Mass Rifle Association is at 290R Salem St, or Rifle Range Road. The match is held in the shotgun field to the left of the clubhouse, Sight in is along the fence line.

When I arrived at the club there were some major changes to the courses landscaping. The shotgun club decided to open up the woods a bit to expand their range. It cleared about 5-7 yards of woods and under growth. Our targets are safe but now there is a bit more wind to contend with.

Regardless, after setting up the sight in range I started clearing branches and pieces of tree from our first 8 lanes. Leo arrived and started to help. By the time we finished Matt Sawyer made it and sight in began.

The scores reflect a variety of challenges we faced that day. With a changed landscape and plenty of wind we did our best. I'll post scores when I get home.
