Other Market value of Aeron B96 CO2 match pistol?

i have seen a couple B96 pistols selling for way too much
as you may know parts are nonexistent and few if any one can work on them for that reason and your malfunction is hard to say
i think a B96 in 100% with mags has a value of say 500.00 one that has a problem 300.00 maybe
can it be repaired by the one in the know or is it a parts gun

now i would like to see the area that moves the mag and you would need to make sure the pellets are not too long
dust and dirty could be gumming up the action that moves the mag

Thanks for the input. The gun is very clean, little to no dust or grime. I tried various pellets and some work better than others, but the problem persists. It works great as a single shot, using the single shot mag.

oh i have one myself
i would get some cotton swabs and clean the mag area and i would use just some rubbing alcohol
someone has been at the screw, it shows signs of being worked
i will post some picture later on
Thanks for the info. When you say "someone has been at the screw", are you talking about the screw on the left side, next to the mag tray? What might the previous owner have done to it (involving the screw), do you think? I will try cleaning as you suggested. Thanks again.

As is, $200-300. Working correctly, $300-450. Few airgunners are familiar with the B96., so your audience of prospects is very limited. Attached below is testing of the B96 I once owned and tested for an article in American Airgunner magazine.

it is correct to assume that few people know these pistols and the hardest part is there value and that could be a negative
but on the flip side these are very nice as are the Chameleon 4 and 5 yes i said 5 it is the .22 model 4
the other thing is they are not seen often and anyone want one will jump to get it
now the is a person on GB he wants 1295.00 and he is mad as a hatter
but a good B96 in 100% working order should be a 500.00 pistol
now back to reality you see in my pictures the B96 the poster has is miss a part below the mag port that on mine has a hex screw and his a slotted screw that it beat up
missing parts will cause problems
an yes mine has a Weaver-Picatinny rail mounted it does not affect the sights and in reality, helps you aim down the slot

a screw what does it tell us
when the edges are rolled over and it is scratch it tell me the person with the screwdriver had the wrong size and didn't care but that screw doesn't belong there as the pictures i posted shows
i will state i am a damaged screw snob, i can't stand to see them and if i have one they get replaced or as least repaired
rusty screws get me going too, they are the window of how the gun was treated
