I finally pulled the trigger on a new March scope. I had been looking at them for a while as I was trying to find a longer-range optic .. went from looking at a Kahles, then March, and then the 7-35 ATACR which I wound up getting. I'm very happy with my 7-35, but I wanted something a little lighter for certain hunting scenarios.
Anyways, I was on the fence in getting the 3-24x52, the NF NX8's are getting a refresh and the March website lists them at premium pricing. The resale on the second hand market doesn't look to great, so I passed on dropping $4K+ on the setup (I live in WA, they're also located here and add 10% sales tax!!!). No one else seems to carry inventory, but bhen I realized March had a big discount for prior military, I generated a one time coupon code and ordered one.
My only gripe is the MIL version is severely backordered. I wound up getting the MOA version (FMA-1 model MAR1050L) with illumination. I added rings, PTL, camera mount and the 6 level lume switch. I'm not sure if I'll regret the 6 level switch, I see that they have another switch that provides dimmer lume.
I get these scope aren't to prevalent, but does anyone else run one of these? If so, how "bad" is the parallax adjustment? Any feedback on the lume switches and general experiences with the scope would be great!
