Benjamin Marauder tank modification

Nothing wrong with a straight shooting Maruader.
Excellent airguns.

I just got my first real air rifle last week - a regulated Marauder with LW barrel (and picatinny rail). I am VERY impressed with the precision this rifle is capable of. I'm a long-time firearms enthusiast and had been thinking about getting an air rifle for several years. Just last week, I made it happen. I've shot it twice and been very impressed.

Also... FUN! It's SO quiet! While wearing electronic ear pro (at a rifle range), all I hear is the "boing" of the action and the "thwack" of the pellet hitting the target.

Will I go further down the rabbit hole? Too early to say for sure. I'm not giving up my "powder burner" firearms, of which I have.... many. But I am enjoying this new facet of the gun hobby.

I have had the same experience, having a range at home where I can shoot any kind of powder burning gun, I’m still really enjoying my new PCP‘s 😁

Kind of like the arms race. M-Rod folks just have a M-Rod or a few. Not like we bought a FX1, then a FX2, then a FX3 then a FX4 and then a FX5 and then a upcoming FX6 where the number of FX guns to be owned is equal to N+1. Of course it has been pointed out that modding the old M-Rod is a waste of time and money but a much lesser waste of time and money compared to N+1 FX air guns, modding them with very high $ parts and then trying to flip them at a huge loss to get that new N+1 model that must surely be better than the old one from a few weeks ago. I mean, like, who would want last week's old busted down and not new and shiny anymore when they can waste some more time and money with a cool new FX with a fake magazine sticking out the bottom for some awful reason and a tactical stock to play operator in the back yard.

Absolutely correct.
