I have been running various pellets and slugs through my marauder semiautomatic. I got a couple dry fires when shooting the fx hybrid slug and afterward noticed the slots in the magazine got a little deformed and pellets weren't seating well. Whatever the specific reason, some characteristic of that projectile didn't agree with the mechanism- see pictures. It shot a dime size group of them at 22 meters, so there is potential, but its not worth risking an issue
It took no time to smooth the deformities out but I couldn't seem to figure out how to reassemble the magazine. I shot an email to Phillip Guadalupe who is one of the developers of the semiautomatic who emailed me back when I had a dry fire issue. I was looking for him to direct me to a resource but within a few hours he provided a custom re-assembly video! I'll post it below for anyone interested.
