Those damn AEAs!!I guess I'm different. Airforce is the first pcp I ever saw(and why I got into them) , and still to this day likely the last I would buy at half price. It's super subjective and a personal preference thing for sure. I choose projects because they're hard and out of my comfort zone. 7,000 orings? Sounds good to me.
The mrod biggest problem for my first gen was the poor deburring on the air tube. Got a roto burr tool and it's been a breeze to change out guage block orings ever since. Judging by the posts I see on agn lately, I know I'm an outlier but want to help people jump in the deep end too.
From a gen 1 Mrod 25 to an impact and it wasn't a big deal for me. If you break down a machine into a system of systems, it's not so overwhelming....unless it's an aea which requires you to find the design flaw that was never thought out I initially (i have a long standing bone to pick with them).
I love mine …. They can be vexing
