My .25 cal Gen II Marauder's exhaust valve poppet is starting to fall apart (see pics). The gun is not modded or tweaked in any way - just factory everything.
It looks like the valve is sold as an assembly, rather than the poppet alone, and no place seems to have them anyway. Plus, if the stock poppet is prone to fall apart like this, I'd rather replace with something better. I'm not super interested in modding it much, otherwise, though.
I know that some folks talk about fabricating their own poppets using PEEK and drill rod. Does anybody sell these? I'm not against trying to fabricate on my own, but I'm OK spending money vs time, and my initial experiments with some random nylon rod I had and a Dremel were not encouraging. Still, if there's a tutorial on how to fabricate, I'd be willing to give it a try if that's the only option.
