Marauder pistol/Wood Grips/Trigger reset

Marauder pistol. Wood grips installed, trigger would not reset. Removed the grips trigger reset fine. Reinstalled the grips perfect. Anyone know why this would happen? I am assuming the wood grips were binding on the trigger somewhere, but I looked and cannot see it. Has anyone had a similar experience?

Don’t tighten the grips too much, particularly the right side that has the removable plastic plate.

That is what I figured. I thought when they made the grips they would have made a provision for that but I guess not.. Do you know if it can be corrected by sanding the grip out a little or should I just live with it as it is - not that tight.

i have a spare 1720p grip frame and i can squeeze the hell out of the cover it does nothing to the trigger
how you could transfer enough pressure from one little screw to an area 2 inches away
i 1720p when adjusted should have a travel of 2mm tops
it is a whatever moment for me
