Marauder hdd or tss

I have a .25 caliber marauder. It’s the synthetic stock version that was purchased two years ago. Does that makes it a generation 2 rifle?



I’m looking to modify it to stop the hammer bounce. Is a hdd or the tss from jsar a better option? Also is the jsar super hammer a worthwhile modification while I’m in there?

You do have a gen 2 Mrod. Gen 1s only came in wood and the breech, air tube and trigger assembly is slightly different between the two.

Neither .... make yourself a SSG devise. The simple 1/4" bolt threw stock hammer is the easiest to fabricate and stays internal.

Search marauder ssg. (Spring stop guide) It's a simple mod that preload the spring and the hammer never touches the valve. When cocked and fire, the hammer gets shot like a sling shot and hits the valve. It doesnt have any spring acting on it pushing it against the valve, this prevents hammer bounce. It works way better than the HDD. The HDD works by fraction of the HDD against the tube. This can make it harder to cock the gun and doesnt give as much more shots as the ssg. I've tries the HDD after watching Ted's video. Gain like 5 to 6 more shots on a .22 mrod. Switch to ssg I made myself and grain about 20 more shots.
