Tuning Marauder bolt doesent stay out.

I just sighted in my new Mrod g2 25 Cal. my first PCP. gun is great but when I empty the mag the bolt doesn't stay all the way out. So I need 2 hands to remove the mag. One to hold the bolt back and the other to push out the mag. I've watched a lot of videos and I dont see anyone else doing that. So I dont think thats normal . 

Any help.

Dove tail But how would that matter.

Also I've never seen anyone hold the bolt back when removing the mag.

Because there are some differences between dovetail and piccatinny, and the dovetails have had some parts changes over the years. I have one of the original batch of the 25 cal, which was dovetail, and this is not an issue. 

I believe all the Armada 25 cals need to do that, and they have the piccatinny rail.



How far is the probe sticking out when the gun is cocked? You can try to minimize it by removing action from the stock, loosening the three trigger assy mounting screws, push the trigger assy toward the rear, and re-tighten the three screws.

I think it's an early G2 problem, bolts are different - I bought one from Hill Airgun to remedy it for myself

Super easy to work around that issue with a very minor bit of work on the magazine. Using a small flat file or a dremel create a shallow channel to clear the bolt face when inserting or removing the magazine. Super easy super simple. It affects nothing else. Just go slowly and don’t remove more material than needed.

Thanks for the all the help. I would prefer not to file down the mag . I dont like workarounds for this issue. no offense.

Also on the third shot I pull the trigger and nothing not even a dry fire. Move the bolt back and forth and I fire a double. Could this be related or am I doing something wrong.
