Tuning Marauder blowback hammer hole

Hello all,

Got a new Benjamin marauder pistol, very cool gun, but I'm having a bit of an issue right out of the box.

When firing, the gun blows a small puff of air into shooters face from directly out of where you put the Allen wrenches into the breach to adjust hammer spring and preload. If I cover that hole with my thumb, no air felt when firing.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

There is nothing to seal the back of the valve what I did was take a disposable ear plug crushed it like it was going in my ear and inserted it just so it was hanging out a bit there really is no fix to it other than plugging the hole

what you need is a custom deflector made of black electrical tape lol .. its normal if thats what your asking ..

Haha I did make a custom gorilla tape patch since it was driving me nuts... but yes I was hoping it was normal and don't have something strange going on.

If this is a new behavior, it can be a sign the O-Ring in the barrel is failing.
