Marauder .25 takes 5 Pepe Le Pew's

I have got to start carrying a camera. So I am cruising around again to put the cat in...this time with my Marauder .25 and what do I spy about 60 yards away but a mass of writhing black and white fur. Yep the entire family of skunks out for a twilight stroll and heading my way. I opened up on the mass and there is now a trail of 4 dead half grown and one mamma skunk. Funny thing is no smell at all. That has only happened one other kill because they usually go off immediately. I'll try to get some pics in the morning unless a predator does a cleanup tonight (I hope) otherwise my buzzards will have skunk breath by tomorrow afternoon for sure! lol

Got to get me a cat! I hope you're feeding that feline well, because she's hooking you up with vermin. I used to see a few skunks in Ga in the 70's but now they are rare where I am. Maybe one roadkill seen every 10 years. You might need a go-pro catcam.

My cat is well fed on Packrat, Hispid Cotton Rats, Canned Fish (he will not eat chicken, turkey and rarely beef) and dry food. A "Cat cam" is a definite possibility if I could get him to wear it.

The buzzards came by early today. Did not leave much but fur, odor and 1 lone buzzard by the time I got out of bed. I am surprised the buzzard could fly off with all five inside so I bet there was an early morning buzzard breakfast party. Strangely enough I bet skunk is the best breath smell a buzzard can have! lol
