Marauder 22 Caliber Power

Marauder 22 caliber. The instructions or tuning suggestions I've seen here are too complicated and time consuming for me, Caring for an elderly relative 24/7. Is there way to get to max power quickly? I would like to know settings for max power, no tuning, just 900 fps, shot count irrelevant! Don't care about bell curve or shot string. Gun is unregulated, have installed larger transfer port. 10 max power shots would be acceptable to me.

Well, for what you're asking, a 10 or 12# hammer spring would be a good start. But to really know where you are at, you need a chrono, and you're going to have to adjust hammer spring tension. Whats the sense in tuning blind..?

At close to minimum/25% hst on the 12# hs and you should be at 900 fps +. Even with the stock HS maxed out you should be close to 900fps using 14.3. Although without knowing what you got/did for a TP, fill pressure, etc, I'm just going by what I know about the newer stock gen2 TP/gun shooting14.3g.

Rifle is dialed in at 750 fps, 1/2 in at 25 yards.Get 25 or 30 shots from 3000 psi to about 1400 psi. but that takes two weeks or more to get the 30 shots (stuck in the city, have to be careful with city-folk neighbors). They get nervous when they see any type of rifle or pistol, even airguns. They don't know the difference! I have a chrony. Hope to do some hunting if I ever get back to the rural area where I actually live. Was hoping that 4 or 5 shots at 900 fps would be more effective.

900 fps, what pellet?  If it's the Crosman 14.3's, it's about 900FPS from the factory. same settings give you about 830 fps with JSB 18.3's. I have factory settings at home, will post tonight. Crosman sent the factory settings at my request because I fouled up my settings and couldn't get back.

Factory in .22 will give about 30 shots per fill

If you want to shoot the JSB 25 grain .22 pellets, use the .25 caliber settings on your gun and you'll get about 900 fps. That should give you 16 shots per fill.

Of course, installing larger transfer port means no one can really help. The settings I provided will probably give 950 or more.

Easiest thing to do, set to factory specs, Shoot over a chrony. If too fast, turn the transfer port screw IN (Clockwise) until you hit your desired speed.

I'll post factory in a few hours when I get to them.
