Nice shooting and video! I've heard it said that for every squirrel you see, there are several more underground. In my experience trying to keep 50 acres clear of squirrels I've found you can get most of them in a few weeks of hunting, but there'll usually be a few "educated" ones that require real patience to get a shot at. Once those have been taken care of you'll be squirrel free for a few months until some adolescent "adventurer" squirrels discover the old burrows and recolonize the area. The good news is that these adolescents are not as wary and will usually give you a shot within 40 yards if you wait a few minutes. It takes periodic observation and shooting sessions to keep them out entirely.
