Making use of Dedal Side Rail on my Leshiy

This might come in handy during the twilight hours when hunting. Easy enough to add or remove it with the QD..

I recently got to play with one of the Leupold thermals. Wow what an interesting thing. You have a set up that looks very practical.

can you get images when shouldered both eyes open, or do you need to cant the gun to use dominate eye.

sure enjoy my Leishy no matter how I set it up.

It actually seems to be usable with this configuration without having to cant! I tested this out a little focusing from one to another, and (with my eyesight) I don't have to move back outside of the Dedal's eye tried range to see the thermal image.

My original idea with it was pure augmentation of the Dedal optic for small hunting targets in dark areas. Now that I can clearly see where the crosshairs map to my Dedal's reticle, I have a pretty good reference for POA using just the thermal. I'm not going to write it off as a complete 1:1 match with an NV optic, but it should be pretty fun and interesting to see what I can hit with it, when I test it out this weekend.
