I ordered a laminate blank from Boyd’s Stock’s. Going to try my luck at making me a stock for my Air Venturi Avenger. Any advice on making the stock?

Take your time, shape slowly, especially with the laminate, complete 95% of the shape and then do the inlay...Here's a semi bullpup stock i made from Boyds laminate blank:

Take your time! chisels and a good rasp are your best friends! Here is my avenger stock. Far from perfect as this was my first attempt ever but feels worlds better than the OG stock

Take your time and measure 14 times and cut once. I made mine using a router table, drill press, jig saw, rasp files, hand chisels and sand paper.

How are you guys attaching the wood stocks? I have a 25 caliber Avenger and have had the stock off several times so I know it has 6 bolts for the plastic stock with one being much bigger than the other 5. I don't think you need 6 for a one piece wood stock but you probably need at least a couple. Which did you use?

Make yourself and accurate side profile template out of poster board. Layout all your inletting on the template. I would do all the inletting first while you have the flat straight sides of the blank to use for guiding and layout work.

Going to be tricky as Tyler Patner and Steve from aeac were on a podcast talking about the avenger. Tyler said they originally were trying to pair with Boyds for a wood stock but unfortunately none of the Boyd’s stock beds were deep enough to accommodate the avenger chassis because of the third smaller air tube on the gun.
