Making a side wheel

This one is made of 3/8 thick abs sheet i got from Mcmaster-Carr, comes in black or white. Measure the knob dia and drill the mount hole to match. Cut the outside shape with a Sabre saw, takes 3 minutes tops. The other holes are for finger holds. If too tight, just run a dremel sanding drum around and around by hand till it fits. If too loose , just shim with plastic strips from beverage bottles to fit. Just pick a shape for the wheel, most of mine are a 3.5 inch radius the long distance end, ie 55 yards or whatever. Another shape that works good is a 3.5 inch radius over a 180 degree arc. Or match the arc to the arc the knob will turn over the range you want. Forester drill work the best for me. I just put colored duct tape on the edge and mark with a Sharpie.
