Major leak on fx dynamic 700mm

Hi
I have an FX dynamic 700mm and used it last 2 weeks ago on pigeons, i took it out yersterday and fond it completly empty, as i tried to fill it, all the air escapes through the barrel, anybody had this issue before,
Hunt hard, stay safe and be good to nature
Cheers
Cock the gun and see if it will fill then.

Barrel leak is your valve
The leak is you valve, replace valve seal. You problem will be fixed. Replace all the oring while your in there, buy the kit,I would suggest do a whole replacement of valve also since your going in there. Not very costly or that difficult. You tube video show you exactly how. You need some ball head allen wrenches and about an hour being first time doing it.

Balanced / assisted valve in my Two threw me off yesterday as i had the rifle apart, filling it again it leaked thru the barrel but cocking it did not help like on my Maverick.
But NP dont stress and just keep the air coming and the valve will close alright, i think its a hallmark of these modern balanced / assisted valves.

Here the rifle could be leaking anywhere but you will need to cock it to have the hammer clear the valve to fill it.
When you get air in it, you can de-cock it, and then it is time to investigate where it leak, first and foremost i would look at the regulators as they are nice and external.
Barrel you can put a balloon or a condom on the end and see if it inflate, CUZ you cant really do much there with soapy water.
if the ballon / whatever inflate, as mentioned it is in your valve the leak is, and probably the seal itself.

I found my Maverick regs was bad just having soap ( dish cleaning ) on my finger and then put the finger on the regulator, and you at once heard the leak you otherwise did not hear or feel CUZ its not like it was that big.

as i recall if it is your regulator that leak to the air, then it is the 2 little O-rings on the brass part you turn to adjust that you need replacing.

I degassed my Panthera to drop the reg pressure. With the gun degassed and the gun unlocked, it wouldn't refill and air was leaking out the barrel. I cocked the gun, no problem refilling. Don't tear into the valve until you try cocking the gun first and try to refill it.

Well for good reasons i have never had my Maverick "all " apart, but i have done that 2 times in the short time i have owned the Epic airguns two.
And the Two have its downsides too, but i would rather take that apart than my Maverick, that's for damn sure.

I have already forwarded a few ideas to Epic on what they could / should have done better.

#1 the use of different size ball / spring thingies, they should all have been 3 or 4 mm balls, not both sizes.
#2 the valve return adjuster, you could have made that accessible from the front with the air pipe removed, so you do not have to fish the valve out the back, which are not strait forward to do.
Either way you have to degas it all, but my way you at least dont have to take a lot off and out of the main body to get the valve out the back.
We are talking like 5 - 10 seconds longer machine time.

As it is now, you really do have to be a experienced tinkerer to fish the Two valve out the back, it do not have to be like that / should not be like that.
