Have had my TR77 NPS for a few months and it has managed to kill no less than 6 scopes. I even had a BKL mount that I managed to strip the threads on trying to stop it moving and the scope creeping.
So I was nearly ready to throw in the towel when I stumbled across some discussion on the OPTISAN Cobra 3-9x42 scope that is magnum rated and very good reviews so I purchased one for a good price, I also saw some mention on a UK sportsmatch mount with a built in shock absorber, bought that too.
Now with 500+ shots through it things are fine, shoots pin point accurate every time, can highly recommend this combo for a heavy recoil rifle.
can also recommend the PTFE thread tape on the scope at the rings to stop it sliding that also works
