Made this gun for my boy

It was a 22 co2 pistol from crosman, cut down a 177 Maximus barrel for it which shoots better than it did at full length which is very well. Made the stock shorter and made a bolt handle for it plus a threaded piece for the barrel for silencers. Put a red dot on it for him. He’s only five but got 6 squirrels on our last morning hunt and 1 was at 31 yds and one at 25. I have a picture but I don’t like to put them on the internet and have not yet learned how to black out faces

Thank you guys for the nice comments, he is a good shot especially for his age and as for guns when he is older he has already lauded claim to one of my marauders. He shoots it off the bench and tells me stories of when he will take it squirrel hunting when his muscles are big enough to hold it. He’s a bit of a character but still a good kid. I have two older girls as well and although they don’t go hunting anymore they can definitely shoot. Both of them had the top scores in their hunter safety shooting classes. The one only shoots open sights too.

Sorry, got off on a bragging tangent, just proud of them.

for a 5 yr old to get any squirrels is impressive. and yet 6 ? yall must have more squirrels than trees there. the young lad must be a really good shot. i got one (.177 2400kt) with 10" l.walther for my daughter, but she was around 10 at the time. she loved it (we loved it too), but needed more range , so i converted it into a pcp and put a long barrel onto it. when she finally did kill a squirrel that eating her moms flowerbed, she cried out, "squirrel depression" , and that was the end of her shooting days (that same summer, she was using a daisy cock bb gun to shoot those big water cockroaches in the house with - so mom was glad she quit shooting). - paul.
