Mac1 tuned Disco pellet velocity question

I am new to PCP airguns but not new to airguns in general. I have a question regarding my Mac1 tuned Benjamin Discovery in .177. It is my understanding that pellet velocities regularly exceeding 900 fps can lead to excessive barrel leading. The most accurate pellet in my Disco .177 is the JSB Diabolo Exact RS (7.3 grains). I have tested 10 different pellet types. This pellet easily chronographs in excess of 1000 fps in my gun. Am I asking for trouble by feeding my Disco a regular diet of these pellets? I currently use a pull through cleaning system from Mac1 along with Napier Power Airgun Oil to clean the barrel. Please advise if I should continue searching for a heavier pellet that shoots accurately. At this point, I am quite satisfied with this particular pellet. (5 shots grouped within 5/16" at 20 yards) Please advise.
