FX M3 Front Reg Question ( Delete via internals removal)

On the Impact M3, Can you just pull the "Guts" ( Piston assembly and adjuster) out of the front Reg Housing to effectively delete the front reg ??

What about the small bleed hole on the valve body?....will this vent with no internal s ?

I bet there's an adapter to delete it or maybe the M4 adapter works (I don't know if it does) If it just keep creeping on you, try a huma up front or let it creep all it wants. I'm super glad I huma converted from the delrin piston amps on my m3.

If there's no atmospheric reference port, technically you could delete the internals. Im a fan of the dual regs, so I never looked around and thought out the delete. I hope this is of some use to you.

According to fx it doesnt need the fromt reg at 250 bar, just leave it wide open.

they do have a reg delete part and even an aftermarket part, not sure if gutting the front reg will work. Call Utah airguns

I just left the 1st reg wide open, if I remember correctly that was 225 bar.

I believe you're in the ballpark of either the guage or the Bellville stack max for the front reg. I can't remember which. Just beware the 2nd reg behind the trigger that's the one I was having piston face deformation issues with at 165 bar at one point combined with summer heat/sun of about 110f. If you could get the M4 reg or a huma for behind the trigger I think it would be problem free even if you heatsoak your gun like me. The brass piston with a delrin seat seems to be far superior and long lived for my uses.

There is also a brass piston kit available for the AMP regulator. I purchased my 'kit' from Utah Airguns for around $50- and it has made a world of difference in holding pressure without any creep.

Well.....Removed the internals...Piston assembly and adjuster . Drilled the vent hole out to 2.5mm and tapped it for a 3mm plug screw ( sealed with Loctite 680)
I have a Sabre Tactical Front Reg Delete adapter incoming, but wont arrive for a week or so....so being impatient to try new things i modded the original front reg as above..
Installed the Huma gen 3 High pressure 2ng Reg...... So far Excellent results..
