I have been washing and lubing my pellets the last 6 or 8 tins figuring it couldn't hurt anything. I wash them in a strong solution of dish soap in very hot water and lube them with napier power pellet lube. After this process I return them to the tins and mark them with a magic marker to identify them. Yesterday I tried a experiment shooting 64 lubed and 64 no lube. The target was set 57yrds away, four rows of four 1/2inch circles. The top two rows lubed, bottom two no lube. Both shot good groups (1/2inch more or less) the only difference I could see was the lubed pellets shot 3/8s higher poi. The gun was FX IMPACT .25cal pellets JSB heavy 33.95gr

Sonny I didn't word that right. I meant did you shoot your FIRST group lubed or non. I did find an accuracy difference at long yardage.
This has been a journey to the Crown.
I have had some kind of airgun for 50 years. I little over a year ago I was looking to upgrade my tired old Beeman C1 and found
these PCP's That lead to a Sumatra non reg'd of course, sold it. Bought the Daystate Airwolf .25 I have now. But I want more ability
to make adjustments and just tinker, You can't really do that with the Daystate. Thus now the Crown I'm not one that can have a
safe full of guns so I wan't one really good one!

2D1C I actually alternated 1st 32 lubed, then 32 no lube, then 32 again lubed, and 32 more no lube. My impact has a 16 round mag so 2 lubed, etc, etc, etc... I own 2 fx rifles the 1st one i bought is the original bobcat .25.i had to pay extra to get it regulated from AOA.That one loves the 25 kings shoots them like a laser then 3yrs later i bought the impact. Both guns are awesome so Im betting the crown will be too!
That is very cool you have the opportunity to own a crown I bet your chomping at the bit waiting for it. I have heard lots of good things about them. Post some pics of it when you get it and let us know how she shoots.
