Lubber grasshopper 40 yards

Sighting back in Taipan short today after rail install. This Lubber grasshopper showed up right as it was perfect at 40 yards. Cleaned head shot.

Use to see these all the time around my dads house but they just started showing up around mine last year.

Great shot!!! Had a green grasshopper on one of my sunflowers, I went for the vital shot and it splattered green guts everywhere. Maybe next time I’ll try for the headshot.
