RAW Rapid LRT stock or chassis?

To me, the traditional stock just seems to fit the rifle better.
But you can't go wrong either way really as both look great.
If I hadn't seen the rifle with the laminate, I would have said the chassis was ab fab..

From a looks standpoint, I like the LRT stock. From a functionality standpoint I think that the chasis is more versatile for use in varied applications. The laminate forestock is wide and blocky. I think that it takes some getting used to if you’re not accustomed to it. The laminate isn’t too heavy.

I have a .25 LRT in an MPA chassis like @woogie_man pictured above and a .30 LRT in a black laminate stock. I mistakenly sold my original R.A.W. chassis and missed it so just bought one from another AGN member. I like all of them - just depends on what you are comfortable with and what you are doing - field shooting, benchrest, etc. Bottom line is that the HM1000X LRT action is great!. The barrels are great! And it's an air rifle I don't have to constantly work on, replace o-rings, tune, fine tune or anything else that takes away from shooting time and pleasure. Oh yeah - also accurate as hell!

I shoot a lot in cold weather, wood feels better to me than plastic or metal in those conditions.

Laminate is my choice.
Front sling attachment is often questionable on bottle guns due to the thinness of the fore end. The stock pictured looks thicker and longer than my Boss for example. That along with the laminations should make stronger in the face of the stresses of a sling or a bipod. I always shoot with a sling when possible. Note the placement of the bipod on the other rifle suggesting that it is too flexible for a bipod or a sling further out.
Besides it looks better.

I purchased mine solely because of the Chassis that can be adjusted for my weird body dimensions and ergonomics....

Hunter class FT rifle use ... a conventional stock.
WHY ? butt bias weighting, ergonomics of hold techniques much better, just more comfortable overall, Cooler to handle in warm sunny weather.
WFTF or Pistol FT use ... Chassis is pretty slick.
Why ? Adding accessories much easier, taking stuff off to dual purpose AG's use unrivaled to a one piece stock.
Come end of the day ... vastly different feel with each type having advantage & disadvantages.

Wood . Just prefer it. Wood and blued steel just says quality to me. I even put a wood grip and forearm on my Notos

I would have bought the wood stock if I had the choice but had to settle for the chassis.
I've got a curly maple stock blank that I was going to use for my FWB 300S, I'm thinking about carving it for the HM1000x. Will have to see, I have an idea for a wood skeleton stock that I want to try.
