Hey y'all, I was wandering the aisles at LOWES tonight looking for inspiration regarding pellet trap material when I stumbled across a really cool find. Not pellet trap related but rather a useful aid to better accuracy and precision.
These tile spacers were on a clearance shelf, unwanted and listless. I saw immediately how great they would be for honing my springer skills at short range. Stick some duct seal onto a convenient substrate (e.g. empty can of peas), press a spacer into the putty as an aim point and... you're off to the races.
12 meters using a combination of low power springers, two with open sights and one with 4x scope in use. No ricochet of pellets, spacer is durable and highly visible, duct seal captures the lead for recycle or reuse, and enough challenge to keep any shooter sharp. Another inspired find in the quest for low cost, high fun airgun adventures.
