Loose cocking lever handle

Hello all,

I noticed that my sidelever is loose;

Can I simply tighten the screw as seen on the image atteched?

I tried to but somehow it doesn't do nothing... Either I am not doing it right, or it has a different function.

Might be a silly question but hey, better safe than sorry. Especially in the beginning.

You are correct and check the bottom section to see if there is a set screw hiding under there .

Yes to a point. There's a socket that could be shimmed too, as I found out when I made this titanium oversized handle for my dreamline.

For the sake of clarity, your LEVER wasn't loose, the cocking lever HANDLE was loose. From the title of your post I thought the lever itself was loose.
