Looking to purchase a big bore air rifle a Winchester 7045 any input on that particular make for hunting deer and hog in Florida 50 yards and under maximum range thank you looking to hear from back from replies
It will do the job nicely. Good shot placement is the main factor.
Shooting hogs in Florida I have never even had a shot over 40. Your model 70 is a good size to maneuver and weight to carry through the swamp and thick underbrush. I think it’s a good choice and you can tinker and get more FPE than stock if you want.
Thanks James I appreciate your information I usually don't get long shots down here because of the swamp and all the trees and everything usually gets a 30 under 30 or 40 yard shot and I'm looking forward to trying to do some big bore airgun hunting next winter I'm leaving auburndale Central Florida where are you located?
Has anyone looked at the Bulldog .357? It looks like with some modifications and slug experiments it can really tack drive. I am looking at purchasing one for hunting and hoping that California starts to allow the use of airguns for other than turkeys.
I'd buy that .45 Texan that just came up in the classifieds. That's a heck of a deal and comes with everything you'd ever need or want. I have one already or I'd have bought it.
