Looking to buy a big bore

So I am looking to purchase a big bore riffle mainly for deer hunting maybe some coyote and bobcat hunting as well. I live in Missouri and the rule here is that it has to be a .40 cal or larger to use on white tails. I am not a complete newbie to air riffles but I have never had a large caliber air riffle. I have been looking at the seneca 909 light hunter with the larger air reservoir on it. Are these good riffles? I have heard good things about them but that they can be ammo fussy. Are they accurate? Is there another riffle in this price point that would be better?

Hey buddy where are you located I live in Kansas City, Mo and hopefully wimpanzee will chime in he lives close to me and has a 909 tuned by Will Piatt I hunt with a Texan 457 or my Badger 40 Jason aka wimpanzee took a nice doe this pass season with the 909.

I'm north of Springfield about 30 minutes. I live on my grandparents farm on about 160 acres.

Hey there!

As Terry said, I do have a tuned 909s light hunter. It's a great gun. Mine is WP tuned, and shoots a 196gr NSA slug around 830fps.

Always in search of more power, I also bought a Texan CF/TX2 .457 carbine. It's a bit different to shoot than the 909s, but it is a beast, shooting 302gr BTs around 850fps.

Also recently got a wingshot II from pyramyd, planning on turkey hunting this spring with TSS #9.

I used to live in Forsyth south of Springfield we can try and get together when I'm coming down to visit family in Branson and I can let you shoot my Texan. Or if you come up to KC maybe we could get together with wimpanzee and do some shooting.

I've done some arrowhead hunting around Forsyth its not far from where I am. KC really isn't to far either, about 2 and a 1/2 hours or so depending on which side of KC. I work Monday-friday so it would have to be a weekend sometime but that would be cool. Thanks guys.

Your welcome I've known a few guys that found arrowheads along Beaver creek. Next time I come down I'll let you know ahead of time.
