Looking forward to the new year! -- Goals thread

My gear list is nearing being complete. I'm shooting well and getting better every time. Getting a feel for the wind with airguns. So I thought it would be a good idea of setting some goals, without regard to just how realistic they may be. Feel free to add yours as well, then of course we can drag it up in a year and see how we did.

Goals for the coming year

• Shot a 250 at 25m
• Shot a 745+ at 25m
• Shot a 240 at 50y
• Shot a 675+ at 50y
• Shot a 4X at 75y
• Shot a 600+ at 75y
• Shot a 6X at 100m
• Shot a 565+ at 100m
• Shot a "5 in a row" chickens and turkeys in extreme airgun silhouette
• Shot a 36+ in extreme airgun silhouette
• Classify as a "AAA" shooter in NRA smallbore standard rifle silhouette
• Finish in the top 5 of any competition I enter
• One first place in all of the types/classes of competition I enter

I don't know what half of that means but My goal is to shoot a sub moa group att 100m (or 100y)

Since i got myself a fwb 300 universal my plan is to shoot that alot! And use my other springers moore also, it is very easy to be spoiled with the pcp's, but it's nice to just grab a gun and shoot without the need for scubatanks or a pump. And hopefuly my bullpup stock will arrive for my Bt65 so i could use that gun moore for some longe distance plinking

My goal is a 700 at 25m for real , not in the back yard. Lol . I've shot it a couple times but never outside my backyard.
Other goal is a 240 card with my FWB. And to be able to make the Extreme BR this fall .

I think you're HOOKED and swallowed the hook. LOL! AWESOME! This is really a fun and all encompassing hobby. Actually writing them down ususally helps to make them become real!

My goal is NOT TO SPEND so Damed much money on airgunning and shoot what I have more.

I personally would like to try FT and learn to range well with my scope.

To get new Gun Hub indoor range to sight-in all three rifles & zero my old eyes once more. Besides breaking all three in. Get good groups on the bulls eye. Besides getting a shooting bag together to do so to begin with. Blood clots in left thigh gone, so surgery will be possible this year. Hopefully be hunting next season as rehab? But, for the moment, bench rest shooting is the only viable alternative, moreso when I get a new car...

I just want to better learn to shoot the wind!, I've been struggling at this, have flags and such, I guess I need to understand what they're telling me, need more practice,practice,practice!

Planning to move out of my condo and trying to find a house I can shoot my pellet rifles. The problem is most houses in my area start at about $300,000 which is hard for me to afford as a retiree. Also I want to find more pesting opportunities like pigeons and ratting. Bill

I have one goal for this next year. Finish in the top 1/4 at the worlds field target competition. This will require about an hour of practice a day, which I won't get to start until april. So for now it's pellet sorting, reading up on techniques and forum browsing/posting.
