Hello folks,
I wanted to top off my fx impact .30 with a mid-range FFP scope, and on the top of my list is the Athlon Optics Midas TAC 6-24x50 FFP. Before I commit however, I wanted to poke around the forums here for any advice or suggestions for something in the same price range, or within a delta of $200 dollars plus or minus (Price on Amazon now is around $669 for MOA).
The Athlon Optics Argos BTR GEN2 6-24X50 FFP is also of consideration and it's also cheaper too, and has IR, but at that price range, the glass is most certainly insuperior.
Both have MOA reticle which is my preference, but I wouldn't knock off a solid MIL option either. Preference is FFP, because I do a bit of small game hunting too. It was previously mounted with the Athlon Talos BTR 4-14x44 scope.
I'm going to be shooting at distances of 75-100 yards, but wouldn't mind it stretching out to see even 150 or 200 yards (as close to seeing the pellet holes).
Thank you.
