Looking for high quality 2.5x15 SFP Scope

Hi All,

I'm hoping to get some opinions on a good quality scope with something around 2.5-15 zoom range. Max range i'll be shooting is 50 yards and will mostly be used for pest control. Was looking for something with the following specs.

  • Budget $1,200
  • Wide FOV for quick target acquisition
  • Illuminated Mil Reticle with hold over/under points
  • Light weight
  • Side focus down to 10-15yards

The best i've been able to find that fits the above criteria is the Hawke Frontier 30 SF 2.5-15x50 but don't see many people recommend it often (maybe not good value for money?) so it has me second guessing the choice.

I've looked at a bunch of 2.5/3.5x15 scopes but either, they are FFP, have no illumination, no Mil reticle options, are heavy, or don't have the best FOV so i'm stumped.

Thanks!

@yo, are you able to post a direct link to the one on Amazon? I tried to search it earlier when you recommended it but I can't get it to show up for some reason.

Also, in your opinion, you think that's a better scope than the Hawke Frontier?

Clarity are about the same but you pay close to half the price instead and I really think the Frontiers are overpriced by at least double. It were half the price I would recommend the Frontier unless you got the cash go blow then buy it. With the Hawke you can't see the illumination in the daylight.
