Looking for a R1/HW80 .177 but found a .20 34 & HW50 .22

Just sharing with the springer crowd.

Been looking for a .177 break barrel with HW style iron sights on it that can send 10.3'd to 13.43 at a good clip. I asked John Thomas but he only has a tuned HW 50 .22 at 12.75ftlbs and a factory 34 TO6 .20, tempting but I don't want to get into .20 and have 7 .22's. 
Just sharing as I know most of you love .20's.

Get the 34 in .20. Try something new. My buddy has a r9 .20 and it's a real shooter.

Only factory 34's in .20 I know of with the T06 trigger were the ones Hector at Connecticut Custom Air Guns had special done more than quite a few years back. He had Lothar Walther make the barrels, then got Diana to build D34k Premiums (he also had some D54's made) using them. There were only 30 of each of them made.

There was a run of 34’s in 20 caliber made years back. I owned one ,T1 trigger if I remember correctly.

Diana did years ago, as in 20+. The little I could find poking around, they stopped around 1998ish?? I know the older guns can be converted to T06 triggers, I think it just takes having the T06 trigger pack and newer style piston. 

I mentioned Hector's 30 rifle run because a member over on GTA just got his hands on one of them, #27 I think and because I happen to own one myself, bought a year ago.

My 34 in 20 caliber had a black stock. 

Sold it because Crosman Premiers in 20 caliber got discontinued.

I have a 34 in .20 that is dated 06/98 is came to me with a 36 stock on it.

To each his own I guess, but I'm not selling a rifle just because Crosman or any other company discontinues a pellet.

Heck, if I did that, I'd have to sell both the .177's I still do own when I run out of my stash of the H&N Sniper Medium pellets.
